Learning and teaching methods:The module content is taught in the form of exercises that serve to impart knowledge, to practise subject-specific practical skills, train subject-specific methodology and work on exemplary tasks in cooperation between teachers and students.
Further information: This course is exclusively for foreign students.
It can also be attended by incomers.

The final examination (PK) is a complex examination consisting of several parts.

Due to the limited teaching capacity within the framework of foreign language training, it is possible that the range of languages offered must be restricted and that courses cannot be offered in every foreign language/at every level. There is therefore no legal entitlement to attend courses in a certain foreign language/at a certain level.

Syllabus plan/Content: The German language is taught in the target language country and therefore special emphasis is placed on oral expression. Since the target group usually uses the new language in an environment where satisfactory linguistic correctness serves not only the smooth transmission of information but also social recognition, care is taken from the outset to ensure that students express themselves as simply but correctly as possible with the correct pronunciation. In addition, receptive skills (reading and listening) are also developed as students become familiar with everyday texts.

Learning Goals
Subject-specific skills and competences: The aim of the module is to develop communicative, socio-linguistic and intercultural competence at the A1/A2 CEFR language level.
Students will be able to
- understand and use familiar expressions and very simple sentences in everyday situations.
- communicate in a simple way orally and in writing.
- understand short texts.
In addition, they will develop their comprehension skills by understanding different cultural aspects.
Generic competences (Personal and key skills): In this module, students develop their communication skills, fluency, and ability to work in a team. After successful participation in this module they are able:
- to learn and work independently.
- to learn with a high level of self-motivation.
- to allocate their time resources in a goal-oriented manner and to critically reflect on their actions.
- to deal with digital applications and information and communication technologies.
- to integrate themselves into a team.
- to deal with intercultural issues.
