­ DC and AC power cables
­ over head lines
­ transformer stations
2. Structure of elekctrical power systems
- low voltage level
- medium votages
- high voltages and extra high voltages
3. Component behviour in case of overload
- thermal stress
- mechanical stress
4. Power system earthing devises
- calculation of earthing systems
- measurement of operational and protection earthing systems

Learning Outcomes:
Subject-specific skills and competences:- knowledge about power system design and the function of the main components
- become aware of the behavior of components incase of overload and short curcuit
- basic understanding of thermal and mechanical behaviour of components
