Subject-specific skills and competences: | Students will know definitons, targets, objectives, tasks for a sustainable Project Management. They will understand the prinicpal phase of sustainable project management, necessary steps and tools to be used in different phases. They will be able to differentiate between success factors and implications for failure. Furthermore analytical thinking and problem solving for challenges in a sustainable context will be trained. Finally, cost and budget will always be in scope. After successful participation in this module, students are able to: - classify the basics of Project Management that are relevant for companies (objectivity/holistic thinking) - recognize the fundamental project management challenges in practice (objectivity/analytical ability) - structure and calculate budgets (planning ability, conceptual strength, systematic-methodical approach) - identify strategic goals of companies (problem-solving ability, organizational ability) - understand and implement suitable methods for business management issues (conception skills, goal-oriented leadership) - understand the impact of digitalization of strategic controlling (objectivity/media and digital orientation) |
Generic competences (Personal and key skills): | After successful participation in this module, students will be able to: - analyze the existing project management situation in the company together with other process participants (ability to judge, ability to cooperate) - analyze and solve complex problems and goal conflicts (conflict resolution ability, decision-making ability) - communicate problems that arise and reach a result together (communication skills, result-oriented action) |
