| Learning and teaching methods: | Students develop a thesis on an individual topic through experimental/empirical work (in chemical/physics laboratories) and literature research. The development of the thesis is guided by regular consultations/reports with the supervising professor. |
| Further information: | If necessary, physical and health examination to determine suitability for handling chemicals. WICHTIG: Die Prüfungsleistungen können in deutscher oder englischer Sprache absolviert werden! Eine Entscheidung ist zu Beginn des Semesters bzw. in Absprache mit den Projektbetreuer zu treffen. IMPORTANT: The examination can be taken in German or English language! A decision must be made at the beginning of the semester or in consultation with the project supervisor. |
| Syllabus plan/Content: | Students choose an individual topic that suits their interests from a range of topics provided by the professors and work on it during the semester. As a rule, this first individual academic assignment in a specialist area of semiconductor processes/materials chemistry or related fields is supported by literature research and experimental work in the laboratory. |
